This group cruise was originally scheduled to sail after National Conference in August 2020 but had to be moved to the new date of July 11, 2021. Many of your fellow square dancers have already moved their bookings to join us in 2021. We invite you to join all of us, too! This is an extension of the conference that you will not want to miss!

Steve Edlund, Surrey, BC
Steve and his wife Lynnette live is Surrey, BC. Steve has been calling for over 35 years and has a successful home program calling for 3 clubs in the Lower Mainland. He just celebrated 35 years of calling for his original club.
Square Dancing has brought many opportunities to Steve and he has had the opportunity to call extensively throughout North America, Sweden and Japan. Steve is on the staff of Elite Records, based in Houston, Texas and Riverboat Records out of California. Steve has been employed by Coast Mountain Bus Company for 35 years.
Steve & Lynnette are now empty nesters. Kristen, their daughter, is teach full time and has moved out on her own. When not calling, Steve and Lynnette lead an active life biking, kayaking and golfing.

Ray Brendzy, Burnaby, BC
Ray and his wife Christine were born and raised in the Vancouver area. They have two children and currently live in Burnaby, British Columbia. Ray is a retired teacher and taught in Vancouver for 36 years. His wife is also a teacher of 32 years, and is looking forward to joining Ray in retirement in a few years.
Ray has been calling since he was seven years old. He has called all over the world, including all Canadian provinces, Japan, Sweden, and in 44 different states in America. He is a very strong supporter of Youth Square Dancers. He calls for a youth club, and both of his children are champions in the areas of Calling, Cuing, Round Dancing and Square Dancing. Ray calls Basic thru C3B, and is a nationally and internationally recognized caller. He is a member of Callerlab and has just recently been voted onto the board of governors. Ray and Christine are excited to be calling for you, as they greatly enjoy spending time with their dancers.

Vancouver, BC
After the National Convention at the Sheraton Guildford in Surrey, BC, board your luxury coach to the beautiful Canada Place Pier in Vancouver where you’ll embark on your home for the week, the spectacular, Celebrity Eclipse.
Inside Passage, Alaska
You’ll sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage. Home to diverse wildlife – orca, mountain goats, bald eagles, bears, puffins, sea otters and more – the complex labyrinth of fjords and bays are where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months.
Sitka, Alaska
Sitka is an island community boldly living between the mountains and sea, where the arts flourish and an ancient native culture still thrives. Surrounded by rainforest, we share our home with brown bears, bald eagles and all five species of Pacific salmon. In Sitka, we are deeply connected to the natural world around us. It informs our culture and inspires our art.
Hubbard Glacier
Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10 story buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.
Juneau, Alaska
Juneau, Alaska’s remote capital, sits in the state’s panhandle, at the base of 3,819 ft Mount Roberts. A tram carries visitors 1,800 ft up Mount Roberts to an alpine area with hiking trails, wildflowers and views of Gastineau Channel. Uncovering authenic local finds and having experiences that make you feel like you’ve really connected with a place are important elements in ensuring an extraordinary vacation.
Ketchikan, Alaska
Ketchikan is an Alaskan city facing the Inside Passage, a popular cruise route along the state’s southeastern coast. Many Native American totem poles are on display in town. Nearby Misty Fiords National Monument is a glacier carved wilderness featuring snowcapped mountains, waterfalls and salmon spawning streams. It’s also home to rich wildlife including black bears, wolves and bald eagles.
Inside Passage, Alaska
You’ll never forget the sight of 40 ton whales hurling themselves into the air, almost completely escaping the water. If you’re especially lucky, you could see them swimming together to create a bubble net, trapping and eating fish by the giant mouthful.
Vancouver, BC
Your cruise ends back in the beautiful city of Vancouver where you’ll board your luxury coach to the Vancouver airport or back to the Sheraton Guildford in Surrey. Not quite ready for this journey to end? Extend your stay by exploring the interior regions of British Columbia and Alberta aboard the Rocky Mountaineer train.
